On July 18th, 2022, decision and consultation working meeting, the third Special Researcher appointment ceremony of the Research Office of Jiangxi Provincial Government were held in Nanchang, Jiangxi. It summarized the past work and people who attended the meeting exchanged experience, studied the situation and deployed tasks. Liang Gui, member of the Standing Committee and Executive Vice Governor of the Provincial Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech, awarding appointment letters to the third special researcher representatives of the Research Office of the Provincial Government.

Liang Gui fully affirmed the achievements of the decision and consultation system of Jiangxi province. The decision and consultation system closely revolved around the central work of the provincial party committee and government, and proposed a lot of strategic and forward-looking suggestions for promoting the leapfrog development with high quality of our province. At present, Jiangxi is in a critical period of accumulation, climbing over obstacles, transformation and upgrading, especially in the context of century-old changes and century of epidemic interweaving and superposition. We hope that the decision and consultation system will give full play to the role of staff department and thinking tank around the center and serving the overall situation. All special researchers should strengthen their responsibility, live up to their mission, and contribute more wisdom and strength to strive for the third quarter, lay the foundation for the whole year and the leap-forward development with high-quality decision-making and consulting results. 

What he stressed was that we should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping's Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and thoroughly study and implement the spirit of Xi Jinping’s important speech during the inspection of Jiangxi Province. Furthermore, it is important to focus on the implementation of major strategies and policies. We should carry out in-depth studies on development priorities and difficulties and major social concerns, and provide more high-quality decision-making advice. We have to improve the guarantee level of decision-making consultation and the incentive mechanism.It is also urgent to strengthen the cultivation and introduction of high-end think tanks and carry out foreign exchanges and cooperation. Optimizing the cooperation and interaction mechanism between think tanks and encouraging resource sharing and information sharing is extremely urgent. Besides, we must encourage the joint construction of bases and the sharing of achievements at the same time adding firewood to the decision-making and consulting work of the whole province. With the high-quality development of decision-making and consulting work in the new era, we will join hands in writing the splendid chapter of comprehensively constructing socialist modernization of Jiangxi so as to welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with outstanding achievements.

After the meeting, our chairman Yang Weihua said he will make recommendations to the development of the foreign trade industry for Jiangxi province over the difficulty in the economic and social development and continuously improve the quality and level of advice. In addition, he will conduct in-depth investigation and research and make efforts to contribute his wisdom and strength to accelerate the high-quality development of Jiangxi province and the new journey of socialist modernization.
